By Car

From Pereira: take the Autopista del Café to Armenia, 1 km after the toll take the exit to Filandia to your right.

From Armenia: take the Autopista del Café to Pereira and take the Filandia return which is before the toll.

Once you arrive to the plaza take the exit from town to Quimbaya, after passing the cemetery to your right take the open road for 1 km, then at the next intersection take the left and continue for 1 km to reach the farm.

Public Transportation

By Bus

From Pereira: from the bus terminal go to the tickets area, locate Expreso Alcalá and buy tickets to Filandia, the price per person is around COP$6.300, the average ride is one hour long, buses leave every hour on the hour, starting at 6:00 AM until 7:30 PM.

From Armenia: from the bus terminal locate any of the companies (Cootracir, Cootrascien o Expreso Cafetero) and buy tickets to Filandia, the price is around COP$4.400 per person and average ride time is one hour, buses leave every 15 minutes starting at 5:40 AM until 8:00 PM.

Drop off in Filandia's main plaza, then locate the Jeep Willys parking area and follow the By Jeep directions (next)

By Jeep

In the Jeep Willys parking area read the route signs in the cars, you should take either Mesa-Quimbaya or Buenavista, the price per person is around COP $2.500 and the average ride time is about 15 minutes, routes run daily every hour on the hour.

You can also hire a driver for an express ride to Finca El Mirador, price can be from COP 15.000 to COP $20.000 one-way.

By Walking

If you want to exercise and enjoy the scenary on your way to the farm please use caution as there are not sidewalks along the way, also avoid walking in late hours due to the lack of ilumination on the roads. 

From Filandia's plaza take the exit from town to Quimbaya, after passing the cemetery to your right take the first open road to the left for about 1 km, then at the next intersection take the left and continue for 1.2 kms until you reach the farm, walking time is around 45 minutes, total distance 3.6 km.

  • We recommend to wear sneackers
  • It is better to use sunblock and/or repelent protection.
  • If 7after one hour of the scheduled activity, visitors do not attend or communicate, the tour will be canceled without refund.
 
  • Frequently Asked Questions FAQ

    How many people can take the tours?

    Minimum 2 people up to 20, more than 20 we will split into two activities.

    Is the tour cancelled if it rains?

    Usually we will wait for a few minutes for better conditions, if not we will provide umbrellas to continue the tour.

    Are pictures allowed during the tour?

    Yes, and we are happy to see our pictures in all the social networks.
